The MOST LAZIEST THING I ever known.

Re: my title of this post, I didn't even know that its TECHnically possible for something LIFELESS.... TO BE LAZY!
I am well aware that MOST of the people I know have encounter this problem.
IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY KNOW, I AM TALKING ABOUT THE INTERNET.
YES! INTERNET YES YOU!
or I should probably blame the wifi/internet provider at this point.

AND THEY SAY PIGS ARE THE LAZIEST. *gasps!*
this certainty tops my list then.

You see... I've been trying REALLY hard to download a 165mb file...........





The "estimated time" mentioned it takes around an hour......







and that was 5 hours ago.............









AND I STILL HAVE NO. FILE.



N.O.  F.I.L.E.

and you know what the sucky part is?
its that the thing already download 70+ mb of the file..
and BAM! its interrupted.
PFFT.
EVERY FOUR TIMES I TRIED. WTF.
*actually the first time was 40, then 50 then 60 so there is actually a slight improvement each time lah*
BUT DOES THAT MEAN I HAVE TO TRY FOUR TIMES MORE JUST TO GET THE WHOLE DAMN THING?!
I cannot even begin to express my rage right now...
JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN FILE ALRIGHT?!?!?!!
what ever happen to the ohsoawesomefiberopticcable my super wise tuition teacher told me about?
huh? IT WAS 2 YEARS AGO THAT ITS BEEN IN CYBERJAYA SO SURELY IT'D BE HERE BY NOW?!
what now huh? we not good enough for those super cables?
we're not a business state like Cyberjaya or Putrajaya so we cannot HAVE THEM?!
why isn't it INSTALLED here yet?
yea right like its damn far to Cyberjaya from here, hence ITS GONNA TAKE MORE THAN 2 YEARS I SEE???

So normally if the internet is down and working NONCHALANTLY.
the logic thing to do is call the responsible officers or restart the modem right?
of course we all do the latter.
waiting for it to speed things a little by restarting it...

IT STOPPED WORKING.
as in my laptop could NOT even detect the wifi cause its not even EMITTING ANY.
*on a side note: I was a wee bit tempted to steal my neighbour's... a wee bit.. of course what stopped me is the passcode* :P

never really get to finish visiting MOST of my friends' families =((
i think the last house i visited was Pn.Lau's house..
one of the teachers we share a close relationship with :D
therefore... visit to her place..
Missed Pn. Tan's house-visiting cause I had something else on...
what a waste..
anyhoo, it was good to see my ex-classmate again!
nice to be under one roof again that day :P

The New Years :)

HELLO HELLO!
I am blogging again people! :D
Last year the lazy got the better of me so I kinda fell off the radar and went MIA for blogging.
But not to worry! I'm back and ready to continue all my bitching about how dramatic my life is again xD
Anyhoo... what's better to kickstart the year than a good old whatdididoformynewyears story.
If you expecting me to story on how i clubbed and drank and drunk and slept somewhere and prolly met some crazy guy... well I'm sorry to disappoint you :)

So this year the new years was rather....... decent?
On the 31th Dec 2011, i went downtown KL to countdown with my high school mates yo!
despite the warnings and heeds from the "experienced people" bout how chaotic it can be and dangerous..
Like the stubborn girl I am I still went on with it :P
Destination: Pavillion :)
Since I "frolic" around there often, they made me the tourguide -__-
had dinner in pavillion and made our way out to where the fireworks are suppose to be..
and lemme tell you... the place was JAM PACK. that you have to push your way through..
It was then we decided we can't really stand still until 12am to watch the fireworks..
So we moved towards SungaiWang..
eventually we decided to stop in the middle of the road and wait for the fireworks xD
it was okay cause all the roads were sealed anyway :D

And then there's CNY :)
went back to good ol' Melaka for reunion dinner with the family..
have you guys watched Little Nyonya the Singaporean award winning tv show?
well I'm a Peranakan, therefore the homecook food that I have during reunion dinners are rather different :D
we DO have ponteh and those spicy oriental dishes..
So the next morning we have the usual ANG POW ceremony :')
( on a side note i thought ang pow was spelled ang pau? the different spelling this year bothers me idontknowwhy. )
this year my dearest sister Catherine wasn't around to celebrate this festival with us :((
HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT ONE YOURSELF AT DC OKAY!

overall I had a good time and I realize that all these festivals that we have just give people a reason to gather and be together after being busy with our own lives.
I am truly grateful that I have a fairly BIG family tree and so MANY extended families to visit..
the thought of these people can be related to you even though you've never really met them just makes me think of how beautiful life is :')
and how lucky we are to have a family to go back to instead.
